What you would be doing

- Processing RFQ’s through the bid process
- Proactively managing opportunities through the internal bid process
- Proactively identify 3rd party equipment to satisfy RFQ requirements
- Planning and organising the sales approach to assure the most effective development of sales opportunities
- Helping to develop job specific differentiators to create competitive offerings, in conjunction with the wider support team
- Some travel to customer meetings in the UK
- Liaising with Commercial Operations & Application Engineering departments to help build winning bids

- Proven track record in previously capturing and interpreting customer requirements on a regular basis
- The ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work accurately at pace, in a methodical and tidy manner
- Ability to work effectively independently and within a team
- Knowledge of electrical products in a marine environment
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Experience in dealing with multiple suppliers to secure accurate and cost effective results
- Marine or Naval background
- The ability to be resourceful and deal with multiple requests, in a fast-paced environment
- Fluency in English, both verbal and in writing
- Adaptability and an enthusiastic approach – a team player and effective communicator
- Knowledge of electrical products and marine systems
- 26 days vacation + bank holidays.
