Ability to repetitively stoop, crawl, bend at the knees and waist, squat and lift 50 lbs; includes body weight, equipment, tools and boxes, in addition to ability to stand for long periods of time on varied surfaces
Ability to work under rigorous conditions
Ability to collect as-built and topographic data, provide sketches and work with survey technicians to develop superior mapping products
Physically able to work outdoors in all weather conditions and terrains
Must understand the importance of the deliverable and have a track record of ownership with regard to all projects and assignments and be a team player
A minimum of 5 years of working experience as a Party Chief
Excellent communication skills
Must be reliable
Familiarity with Trimble TSC3, TSC5 or TSC7 Data Collectors
Have the ability to work out of town, flexible with work area
Must be able to pass drug/alcohol screening
Familiarity with Carlson Survey software a plus
Sufficient knowledge to handle most survey-related tasks in the field to include the ability to review and understand construction drawings and perform associated layout
Experienced in recovery of boundary evidence in the field
Experienced in reading and understanding deeds and plats
Must have a valid driver's license, clean driving record and be able to maintain a valid driver’s license in order to operate company vehicle
Only recipients of an offer of employment from Dewberry, will be required to submit to a background screening which may include, but is not limited to, employment verification, educational and other credential verification, driving record check, criminal background check, and an investigative consumer report. These screenings will be conducted by Dewberry’s background vendor of choice and will be conducted in compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local law.
