Oversee and coordinate documentation of construction inspection.
Coordinate activities on the project site and resolve problems related to the work.
Maintain project documentation and communicate with individuals at all levels of the project.
Apply project plans, along with company policies, guidelines, standards, specifications to the work and make decisions.
Responsible for the construction inspection of bridge and/or highway construction projects including measuring and calculating quantities and documenting work with daily work reports, photos, and sketches.

Expertise in federally-aided, transportation projects as a Construction Inspector preferred.
Strong communication skills.
At least NICET II or Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering required.
High attention to detail.
Ability to work outdoors, on job sites, for extended periods of time.
Insures work is completed in accordance with NYSDOT specifications.
Ability to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.
