  • Conduct review of property manager’s annual operating budgets on each site and have final sign-off on budget for review by Vice President and President, SVP.
  • Assist Property Managers in resolving employee issues concerning performance evaluations, or employee disciplinary actions.
  • Analyze and approve expenses throughout the portfolio.
  • Maintain a general knowledge of any transaction in markets under management.
  • Must be able to conduct a thorough analysis of a subject property to include assessing the Value of an Asset.
  • Reinforce Company Values in all property operations.
  • Provide final approval of all new hires in portfolio.
  • Work closely with Community Managers to evaluate and analyze their property’s performance from an operational and financial perspective.
  • Oversee the operational and financial management of Tax Credit & HUD apartment communities.
  • Complete a thorough review of monthly operating statement and general ledger.

  • BA/BS degree strongly preferred.
  • Strong, positive, motivational leadership style in managing multiple teams to success.
  • Possess a complete understanding of Ownership structure, financing, management agreements and income-regulated programs.
  • Possess thorough knowledge of competitive properties and market knowledge of every asset in portfolio.
  • Must have demonstrated conflict resolutions skills.
  • Must have high sense of urgency in completing all tasks, while maintaining a strong detail orientation.
  • Tax Credit/HUD experience is required.
  • 3-5 years of experience as a multisite manager.
  • CPM designation strongly preferred
  • Must possess extremely strong communications skills; both written and verbal.
  • Property Management specific software experience in YARDI highly preferred.
