The Assistant Engineer will act as the electrical designer for water and wastewater facilities, handling tasks such as conduit and wire sizing, equipment layout, lighting system design, and coordination with engineers from other disciplines.
- Provides planning, design, and construction oversight for water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure.
- Maintains a low‑bureaucracy, high‑creativity work environment.
- Recruits talented professionals and equips them with challenging, creative assignments and necessary tools.
- Employs over 2,000 staff across 70+ offices in the U.S., Latin America, Canada, and the UK.
- Serve as an electrical designer on water and wastewater facility projects.
- Execute redline markups from engineers.
- Lay out electrical distribution equipment.
- Design lighting systems.
- Interact with engineers from other disciplines.

Ideal candidates have 0‑4 years of experience, a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or will obtain it within six months), proficiency with Microsoft Office, and strong communication skills; familiarity with NEC codes is required and AutoCAD/Revit experience is a plus.
