Description

• Food Safety & Quality: Maintain FIFO rotation, monitor temperatures, and ensure proper storage to uphold food safety and quality standards.
• Operational Readiness: Keep cooking stations stocked during peak hours and use all produce efficiently to support smooth kitchen operations.
• Customer Satisfaction: Maintain high standards of food quality and flavour, with customer satisfaction as the core focus.
• Stock & Ordering: Ensure timely ordering, inspection, and stocking of all produce to support full catering service and minimize waste.
• Leadership: You lead by example—supporting, coaching, and motivating your team to perform at their best while aligning with company goals.
• Team Development: You set clear objectives, provide regular feedback, and foster a collaborative environment that encourages growth, engagement, and accountability.
• Operational Oversight: You manage recruitment, rosters, performance, and succession planning to ensure consistent coverage and team capability.
• Menu Management: Develop and cost new menus, oversee daily specials, and ensure compliance with menu standards and procedures.
• Workplace Safety & Compliance: You uphold WHS and food safety standards through active risk management, accurate record-keeping, and proper use of approved chemicals and PPE.
