Ensuring successful project delivery with respect to health & safety, scope, schedule, budget, QA/QC, and client satisfaction
Project management, including leadership of other geologists and third-party consulting groups

Mentor junior geologists and participate in internal and external training/mentorship opportunities

Construction of block models for mineral resource and mineral reserve estimates

Significant knowledge of Seequent’s Leapfrog Geo and Edge modelling software
Undergraduate degree in the geosciences. Master’s degree preferred
Knowledge of geostatistical mineral resource estimation fundamentals
Knowledge of an additional mining software package such as Datamine/Vulcan/Surpac/Micromine is considered favourable
Experience with 3D geological modelling, data analysis, and drill planning

The salary range for this position is $120,000 - $160,000+. Final agreed-upon compensation will be commensurate with individual education, professional designation, experience, internal parity, and location.
