Description

• Assist with month‑end and year‑end close and reporting process.
• Process full‑cycle accounts payable, including payments to employees, subcontractors, and suppliers per legal, contract, and corporate guidelines.
• Manage full‑cycle accounts receivable, submitting invoices to owners and handling collections within contract terms.
• Ensure approvals on all accounting and payroll documents comply with corporate guidelines.
• Maintain corporate accounting standards.
• Assemble information for internal financial reporting.
• Perform diverse secretarial duties such as phone answering, word processing, data processing, transcription, editing, proofreading, and filing.
• Review approved expense reports, process expense payments, and post to the general ledger.

Requirements

• Pursuing or holding an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• At least 18 years old and able to work full‑time in Houston, TX.
• Pass a background check and third‑party substance‑abuse test.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office software.
• Familiar with owner contracts and payment terms.
• Basic understanding of lien rights.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently or in a team with strong interpersonal skills.
