We’re hiring a TVECS Systems Support Engineer to remotely lead and sustain mission-critical application systems used across multiple North American manufacturing centers. The role focuses on coordinating quarterly software upgrades, validating server patches, troubleshooting and responding to system events, and ensuring security, access control, and compliance. You’ll work cross-functionally with IT networking, firewall, cybersecurity, and account-management teams, as well as engineering groups, to keep core production-support systems fully operable. Ideal candidates have experience with Windows Server environments, SQL, PLC I/O or industrial data networks, and the ability to independently manage projects from plan through execution.
Travel: Up to 30% - US and international travel.
Project management experience in building plan, procurement service, scope control, and progress monitor– 2+ years
Knowledge of MS Windows operating environments (Server 2016+, Office) and SQL database
Ability to visualize problems & solutions, work activity and project plans
Troubleshooting/application support for planned and emergent events
Position related experience in Engineering/Software Engineering – 3+ years
Ability to work cross functionally with local (North America) and overseas (Japan) manufacturing engineering teams and IT groups (network, firewall, security, account management)
Experience with PLC I/O and data networks such as Allen Bradley, ControlNet, DeviceNet, Ethernet/IP, FLNET
Experience with PLC IO and Data networks (ControlNet, Device Net, Ethernet/IP, FLNET), and webpage design
Working knowledge of MS Windows operating environment (server 2016+, Windows 10+)
Strong interpersonal skills, works well with team environment, and can build consensus.
Understanding of information technology networking, architecture, security, account management, policy and webpage design.
Ability to work weekends to support application management activities
Verbal and written communication skills to effectively explain with multiple levels within the organization
Strong organizational skill and ability to self-manage
Overtime: Up to 20% - weekend work support required some remote and some onsite.
