Maintain currency in security concepts, tools, and best practices
Engagement with the R&D Cyber Defence Centre for company Cyber Solutions/Products
Responsible for the transition of projects from the System Design team into the SOC operations ensuring impact analysis, capacity and availability management are considered prior to accepting new projects
Stand as an escalation point for all SOC operational engineering activity
Support SOC Engineers & Analyst activity
Supports change & release management activity

Do you have experience in scripting and programming?

Do you have experience with SOC tooling such as IDPS, Firewalls, SIEM, Splunk, etc.?

Excellent understanding of network technologies
Experience in Scripting and programming
Good knowledge of multiple SOC tooling including IDPS/Firewalls/SIEM/Splunk/Email & Web Protection etc.
Experience in Windows and RedHat server systems and implementation of CIS hardening
Experience implementing and fault-finding Firewall technologies including Cisco ASR/Palo Alto/Fortinet
