Conduct site visits and inspections, as well as face-to-face meetings with clients and industry partners as necessary
Assist in pricing and bidding of renewable energy projects, performing quantity take-offs when necessary and conducting reviews of milestone documents for pricing of value alternative options
Communicate with engineers, suppliers and consultants to clarify scope of work, materials, and schedule requirements as required
Support in the collection and organization all bid information for future reference
Lead and provide support as appropriate with conceptual and detailed design of renewable systems, specifically solar and battery energy storage.
Build and maintain relationships with subcontractors, vendors and internal clients, attending industry events and representing McCarthy in the community
Participate in the internal estimate review process and assist with final assembly of estimate for presentation to the client.
Support in the development of subcontracts and purchase orders for major equipment.
Champion standardization by identifying and documenting “Best Practices”
Support in the review of testing, commissioning plan and QA/QC documentation
Support in the estimation of projects by leading efforts to solicit proposals from subcontractors and vendors, as necessary.
