Grouting Inspector: American Segmental Bridge Institute (ASBI) Grouting Technician Certification
Minimum of 5 years of relevant post education experience in discipline with prior construction inspection experience.
Two (2) years of education equivalent to completion of a curriculum beyond the 12th grade in either (1) engineering which includes courses in trigonometry and algebra or higher, drafting, computer science, and physics, chemistry, or a comparable physical science; or (2) surveying which includes courses in trigonometry and algebra or higher, drafting, surveying, and computer science.
Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, follow instruction, and comply with company policies.
Valid state driver’s license.
Sound interpersonal and communication skills when interacting with others, expressing ideas effectively and professionally to a technical and non-technical audience.
Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.
Associate’s Degree in closely related discipline
Ability to work schedules conducive to project-specific requirements that may extend beyond the typical workweek.
Analytical mindset to exercise sound judgement in evaluating situations and making decisions.
Ability to provide input and feedback to others in the field such as subcontractors and work colleagues to consistently complete tasks safely, efficiently, and accurately according to specifications.
