RTG Director, Development-Facility Advisory Services (Knoxville)

Description

• Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to manage audits and inspections.
• Develop and maintain a professional network
• Advise internal stakeholders on regulatory changes and implications for facility operations.
• Oversee data collection, analysis, and reporting of building systems and infrastructure.
• Oversee assessors, engineers, and other compliance professionals.
• Manage projects and teams responsible for facility activation.
• National leader and promoter of all aspects of facility advisory services.
• Facilitate compliance with ADA, OSHA, NFPA, Joint Commission, CMS, and other applicable standards.
• Deliver client Board-level presentations and attend executive-level meetings.
• Develop and maintain assessment criteria and methodologies aligned with industry best practices.
• Develop long-term capital improvement plans and facilities master plans.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Building Sciences, or related field (Master’s preferred)
• Problem solver
• Key involvement and facilitation of service line and company-wide business development efforts.
• Minimum of 8–10 years of experience in facility condition assessments, regulatory compliance, or facilities management
• Able to accept constructive criticism
• Strong communicator
• Experience with software programs including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, PlanGrid, PMWeb, or similar
• Ability to work both independently and within a professional team environment
• Proven leadership experience with cross-functional teams
• Detail oriented
• Strong knowledge of building systems, construction standards, and regulatory frameworks
• Timely decision-maker
• Overnight travel may be required up to 50%
• Certifications such as CFM, PMP, CHFM, CHSP, or equivalent are highly desirable
