* Leadership and Team Development: Manage and mentor production staff, support workforce planning, and foster a high-performing, collaborative team environment.
* Budget and Cost Control: Support budget planning, control production costs, and identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining safety and quality standard
* Continuous Improvement: Apply Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, and other methodologies to eliminate bottlenecks, improve productivity, reduce waste, and enhance process efficiency.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Project Management to resolve production issues and align operations with business goals.
* Safety and Compliance: Ensure adherence to OSHA and Siemens Energy safety standards, promote a strong safety culture, and maintain full compliance with EHS regulations through training, audits, and risk assessments.
* Operations Management: Oversee daily manufacturing activities, coordinate production schedules, and monitor key performance indicators (safety, quality, delivery, cost, inventory) to meet customer commitments.
* Experience: Minimum 10 years in manufacturing, including at least 5 years in a leadership or people management role; experience in transformer manufacturing or heavy electrical equipment is preferred.
* Systems Knowledge: Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP or HANA, and experience with quality control, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
* Language & Mobility: Fluent in English with willingness to travel occasionally and relocate for the position.
