Maintain a current and thorough knowledge of the Distribution supply system
Ensure the accuracy of SGN’s Network Analysis computer models
Support development of the supply system in a safe and efficient manner
Provide an efficient and effective service to operational departments.
Provide network analysis support to the wider business
In addition to the above, the successful candidate will be expected to participate in the Scotland LDZ Network Analysis Standby rota.
Develop reinforcement designs in support of new connections, taking account of factors such as cost, deliverability and interaction with other activities / business drivers
Develop a detailed understanding of Leakage and Environmental Emissions Incentive
Develop optimum mains replacement designs, taking account of factors such as cost, deliverability and interaction with other activities / business drivers
Determine the optimum method of network operation consistent with minimising costs and maintaining statutory obligations.
