The Investigator role at Guidehouse involves managing and supervising a team of Team Leads, Senior Analysts, and Analysts who execute a variety of regulatory compliance and financial crime functions such as Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Office of Foreign Asset Controls (OFAC), and Know Your Customer (KYC) processes. The position requires overseeing team performance, ensuring quality, providing training, and maintaining clear communication with clients. This is a full‑time, office‑based role requiring five days a week on site.
Key duties include conducting quality assurance reviews, managing work queues and alert assignments, monitoring production metrics, and preparing both internal and client‑facing status updates that incorporate key performance indicators. The investigator also leads root‑cause analyses, drives remediation efforts, and handles onboarding, off‑boarding, and system‑access responsibilities while staying current on regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) and possess at least six years of relevant experience, including proven team‑management skills and subject‑matter expertise in OFAC sanctions, AML, financial fraud investigations, and the legal framework of the BSA and USA PATRIOT Act. Strong written and verbal communication, advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency, and the ability to handle confidential information and occasional overtime are essential.
Preferred qualifications include CAMS certification, comprehensive knowledge of transaction monitoring, fraud operations, SAR reporting, and end‑to‑end KYC, CDD, and EDD processes. Experience in project management, client relations, training, and mentorship is also valued.
Guidehouse offers a competitive total rewards package that includes flexible benefits such as medical, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, health savings and flexible spending accounts, disability coverage, tuition reimbursement, parental leave, and a discretionary variable incentive bonus. The firm is committed to diversity, provides accommodations for applicants with disabilities, and fosters a supportive workplace through employee referral programs and community outreach events.
