The employee is frequently required to talk, hear, and bend and twist neck.
Prepare paints. A high degree of accuracy is required. Use of viscosity cups, thickness gauges and gloss gauges to test makeup of paint and an understanding of chemistry mix of compounds is required.
Clean and prepare surfaces. (Masking, grit blasting or chemical prep)
The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and rarely lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Maintain equipment. You will be responsible for maintaining paint equipment and troubleshooting.
May also engage in frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing and pulling of parts and part containers

Clean work area. Knowledgeable in the safe handling and disposal of hazardous chemical and waste.

Previous Paint Prep experience required
Self-motivated and work well in a team and independently
Experience in high-end automotive or industrial equipment paint prepping. Sign industry experience preferred.
Painters’ only – Previous Experience painting in high-end automotive or industrial equipment environments.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision.
Ability to be fitted for a Respirator, both Medically and Physically
Will be required to be certified as a Forklift Operator by Pattison ID
May be required to stand for long periods of time
Ability to use hand and power tools and equipment
Experience in a fast-paced, high-production work environments
