Yard Operator

Description

• Replace collection filters and clean filter boxes
• Clean oven ducting, exhaust fans, and hoods
• Maintain curing oven filters and clean the oven interior as needed
• Clean process water tank and surrounding area
• Clean collection fan, impeller, and ductwork when required
• Prepare new sets of SPC filters and keep them ready
• Keep tool storage areas clean and organized
• Maintain general cleanliness of the emissions building
• Clean melter exhaust piping, collection auger area, and LHC conveyor
• Replace cooling‑zone filters and clean related conveyors, ducting, and fans
• Clean recycle area, spinner waste screw augers, and SPC duct
• Maintain factory floor sump pits and afterburner, disposing of waste properly
• Clean all decks and factory floors
• Provide ideas and suggestions for process improvements
• Maintain cleanliness of factory grounds and remove waste to appropriate bins
• Organize waste and raw‑material storage areas
• Perform additional duties such as painting, trim work, and miscellaneous tasks
• Communicate effectively with all departments

Requirements

• Clean spinning chamber, gooseneck, seal drum, drive sprocket, and collection screen
• Understand equipment operation and health‑and‑safety requirements
• Work safely and follow H+S guidelines
• Read and interpret written instructions accurately
• Work independently with minimal supervision when needed
• Exhibit high energy, positive attitude, drive, and commitment
