- Develop and network with new and existing clients to effectively position for and develop work opportunities.
- Prepare contract proposals and cost estimates.
- Play an active role in the mentorship and development of junior and mid-level staff on environmental projects.
- Preparing technical reports, letters, memoranda, remedial design to address contaminated soil, groundwater, and sediment under a variety of regulatory programs with high attention to detail and quality.
- Evaluating and designing remedial alternatives to address site contaminants.
- Interpreting environmental data and developing site-specific conceptual site models.
- Manage environmental projects, including site characterization, due diligence, property transactional services, remedial design and implementation, and preparation of reports and other related documentation.
- Manage project contracts, staff, budgets, and schedules.
- Perform, analyze and report on specific environmental project tasks under general supervision and provide solutions to technical problems in accordance with accepted scientific/engineering practices and principles.

- Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills including strong proficiency in results-oriented technical report writing with high attention to detail and quality.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships.
- B.S. or M.S. degree in Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, or related field.
- Demonstrated abilities in leadership, management, and administration.
- Ability to bend, twist, reach, stoop, pull, kneel, climb, balance, lift, carry, and push as required forfieldwork and inspections.
- Moderate to loud noise levels, common in active construction and industrial environments.
- Minimum 10 years of environmental consulting experience, with a strong focus on soil and groundwater investigation and remediation.
- Exposure to environmental elements including dirt, dust, sun, heat, humidity, and adverseweather conditions.
- P.G. or P.E. preferred.
- This position requires moderate travel, approximately up to 40% of the time, in support of business
- Frequent use of hands and arms for typing, handling tools, and operating equipment.
- Demonstrated ability and willingness to develop business from new and existing clients.
- Working knowledge of federal & state environmental regulations (GAEPD USTMP, VRP, HSRA, Brownfield) and good research skills and abilities.
- Ability to lift and/or carry 35 to 75 lbs. up to 75 feet, involving regular repetitive motion.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and assignments in a dynamic work environment while maintaining high attention to detail and quality to meet deadlines within budget.
- Ability to use your senses to see (including close, distant, and peripheral vison, depth vision, andability to focus) smell, hear, touch (use hands to reach climb or balance, crouch, stoop, crawl,kneel and sit)
- Ability to stand, walk, drive, and operate equipment for extended periods.
- Ability to speak and hear effectively to communicate in noisy environments and with projectteams.
- Ability and willingness to collaborate and support other team members by successfully working alongside others and contribute to overall team success.
- Sites that may not be accessible by vehicle, requiring travel on foot through wetlands, swamps,grasslands, fields, and other uneven or rugged terrain with natural and man-made obstacles suchas sand, brush, and debris.
