  • Planning and performing assessments, pilot tests, construction oversight, and remedy O&M.
  • Providing project and client management from small dry cleaners/gas stations to complex industrial facilities to major federal facilities.
  • Providing technical assistance to teams working across multiple offices throughout the country, problem-solving, mentoring, leading by example, and participating in corporate technical initiatives.
  • Leading and supporting remedial and process engineering projects and teams to fill data gaps, design, construct, operate, and optimize systems.
  • Preparing proposals, cost estimates, and long-term projections for remediation projects.
  • Preparing, reviewing, and mentoring others in the development of design basis, technology feasibility analyses and selection, and design plans, specifications, and reports.
  • Evaluating data from aquifer tests, pilot studies, bench testing, sampling events, and modeling to develop remedial strategies.
  • Communicating with regulatory personnel and permitting agencies to ensure compliance with project requirements and applicable regulations.

EnSafe is accepting applications for an Environmental Remediation Project Engineer to join our team in Tampa, FL. Candidate must be willing to work at the EnSafe Tampa Office. Relocation assistance is available to meet this expectation as well as a signing bonus.

An experienced Environmental Remediation Project Engineer ready to support and manage a design team using innovative remedial technologies to address various contaminants in soil, groundwater, industrial wastewater, stormwater, and air. The right candidate will enrich our team of engineers and scientists in providing solutions to address contaminants such as PFAS, 1,4-dioxane, chlorinated solvents, petroleum, and heavy metals for sites regulated under state, CERCLA, and RCRA laws. Joining our team means immersing yourself in an atmosphere that nurtures creativity, encourages collaboration across all levels, embraces a supportive culture, and facilitates professional development.

  • Ability to travel overnight.
  • Hands-on experience with remediation technologies and O&M for soil, groundwater, stormwater, industrial wastewater, and air for a wide range of contaminants.
  • Strong knowledge of FDEP, CERCLA, RCRA, and other environmental regulations, legislation, and SOPs.
  • Experience with remedial system instrumentation and controls, and remote telemetry a plus.
  • A valid driver’s license.
  • P.E. required.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an ABET-accredited college in Civil, Chemical, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering.
  • Strong consulting, problem solving and leadership skills.
  • 7-15 years of relevant experience required.
