The Mechatronics & Robotics Technician supports the Operations Maintenance Team by repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems throughout the building, and by installing, maintaining, and repairing automated packaging and distribution equipment.
- Promote a safe work environment by following all safety procedures.
- Perform preventative maintenance routines and document the work.
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues on material handling equipment, including belts, motors, photo‑eyes, and relays.
- Create, assign, and close work orders, tracking labor hours, parts used, and equipment maintenance data.
- Mentor junior technicians to support their development.
- Maintain positive relationships across all operations areas.

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years experience repairing material handling equipment or automated conveyor systems.
- At least 2 years performing predictive and preventative maintenance.
- 1+ year experience reading blueprints and electrical schematics.
- Knowledge of electrical and electronic principles.
- Experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Associate’s degree or higher in mechanical or electrical technology.
- Familiarity with MHE safety standards and OEM guidelines.
- Experience operating and maintaining robotic equipment.
- Ability to reach overhead, kneel, squat, climb ladders, use an aerial lift, and lift up to 50 lb.
- Capability to work while wearing required PPE such as hard hat, face shield, and composite toe shoes.
- Requirement to move between departments, covering 6‑12 miles daily and work in varying warehouse temperatures.
