Your work will ensure that every environment is not only visually compelling, but also commercially viable, operationally robust, and genuinely guest-friendly.
You will sketch ideas with speed and clarity, test and challenge layouts through hand drawing and AutoCAD, redline drawing packages, and continuously propose smarter, more refined spatial solutions. Acting as a design authority and guardian of spatial integrity, you will ensure that ambitious creative concepts are translated into clear, buildable and beautifully resolved spaces. This role requires exceptional conceptual intelligence, deep technical insight, and the confidence to influence creative direction at the highest level
Design Director to lead spatial planning and concept design on luxury hotel projects, combining strategic insight with creative direction at the early design stages.
This is a critically important, front-end leadership role at the very heart of the studio’s design process. The Director will lead on the conceptual foundation of every project, setting the spatial tone, operational logic, and guest experience strategy from the very beginning. This role quite literally defines how each project will function, flow, and feel.
The ideal candidate will bring 15+ years of experience within high-end interior design, with a strong recent focus on luxury hospitality and hotel projects. You will be a true front-end thinker, deeply hands-on, and actively producing, reviewing and interrogating layouts through both exceptional hand sketching and AutoCAD.
You will be a natural leader and mentor, able to elevate design teams, confidently challenge spatial decisions, and communicate with clarity and authority to consultants, operators and clients. You will bring deep sector-specific knowledge of luxury hospitality, alongside the confidence and credibility to lead from the front at concept stage.
You will have an outstanding understanding of hotel environments, including guest journeys, operational adjacencies, back-of-house/front-of-house planning, and the nuanced expectations of the luxury market. Your spatial thinking will be both highly creative and rigorously practical, ensuring layouts are inspirational, workable, and commercially sound.
