  • Detect and report all machine malfunctions
  • Maintains equipment by completing preventative maintenance requirements
  • Monitor the machine to ensure that it is running at maximum performance
  • Documents actions by completing production and quality logs
  • Operate forklifts according to safe operating procedures
  • Adjust machine as needed
  • Maintains safe operations of all machines by adhering to company and OSHA safety policies and procedures.
  • Follow safe operating and lifting procedures for overhead cranes
  • Bring in and remove various sizes, thickness and shapes of steel parts.

  • Experience operating CNC machines is preferred
  • Regular sitting, climbing stairs and ladders, reaching overhead, stooping, and crouching will be required.
  • Must have experience using plasma and oxygen fuel.
  • One (1) year related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred but will train if necessary
  • Must be able to constantly work in various indoor and outdoor conditions including hot and cold temperatures, dust and noisy conditions.
  • Must be able to carry a maximum weight up to 20 lbs. frequently; 50 lbs. occasionally.
  • Possess basic computer skills
  • Experience using hand-measurement tools is preferred
  • Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, write and follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Accurately read a tape line
  • Must be able to lift a maximum weight up to 20 lbs. frequently; 50 lbs. occasionally.
  • Must be able to properly wear all required Personal Protective Equipment.
  • Knowledge of operation the operation of a CNC machine
  • High School diploma/GED required
  • Frequent standing, walking, reaching forward, balancing, feeling, object handling, simple hand grasping, firm hand grasping, and operating controls will be required.
