Trade/Technical School certification or degree preferred.

Demonstrate advanced troubleshooting skills on 100 ton and less unitary DX equipment.
Strong adaptability skills.
Four to five years plus of commercial/industrial HVAC experience including exposure to control, compound and reciprocating systems as well as refrigerants. Experience level is based on technician classifications described above.
Basic understanding variable frequency drives.
Capable of all repairs needed on rooftop package equipment.
Diagnose problems using electrical schematics.
Understanding of psychometrics
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Basic understanding of Controls
This role is based out of the Winston-Salem, NC area and will require travel throughout the region.
Working knowledge of computer and tablets.
Basic understanding of Quoting
Understanding of 5 through 100-ton unitary DX equipment, chilled water air handlers, computer room units (CRAC), Pneumatic and DDC controls.
Diagnosing refrigerant system issues.
Understanding of up to 20-ton unitary DX equipment
Ability to deal with problems involving concrete variables in standardized situations.
EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
