

Produces HVAC, fire, security and building automation systems to optimize and protect buildings globally.
As a senior level team member of the iMPACT Fly Team, you will be responsible for traveling 75‑100% of the time to assist JCI customers at all levels of building automation system programming, checkout and commissioning. This includes validating hardware and software commissioning activities for building automation systems and applying advanced HVAC & Building Automation experience on assigned projects. You will work directly on multiple project teams to assist the Project Managers and Field Technicians.
You will load system‑level controller software, perform advanced commissioning and system diagnostics from controllers to end devices such as sensors and actuators, and complete all required commissioning documentation. You will keep management and the JCI contractor or customer informed of job progress and issues, calibrate systems using basic electronic test equipment, and complete administrative tasks such as timesheets, expense reports, and on‑site documentation. You will document changes for as‑built records, communicate with the contractor or customer on arrival and departure, and follow all safety standards, attending required safety training with a high regard for employee and subcontractor safety.
The role requires advanced computer skills (Metasys preferred), strong knowledge of electrical testing and commissioning tools, and excellent documentation acumen. Good communication and listening skills, advanced knowledge of mechanical HVAC systems, and low‑voltage/120‑volt wiring skills are preferred. A valid driver’s license with no major or frequent traffic violations is required.
