The Porter/Yard Worker role—also called Yard Associate—focuses on positioning and retrieving equipment on site, keeping a written maintenance schedule, and performing basic servicing to meet specifications. The associate also inspects tools before and after each rental, recording any loss or damage, and supports a safety-first culture.
- Station and retrieve equipment on the location’s property
- Maintain a written maintenance schedule and service equipment as needed
- Inspect equipment before and after rental to document loss or damage
- Perform basic repairs and ensure equipment meets specifications
- Follow safety protocols and lift up to 50 pounds

Base pay ranges from $17.75 to $23.72 per hour, with rates varying by location, experience, and education. Full-time employees become eligible for benefits after 30 days, including health, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, disability coverage, life and travel insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid parental leave, and generous paid time off.
