Description

You will carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive gas activities, assisting with core combustion tasks and fault‑finding on a range of commercial and domestic appliances. The role requires a hands‑on, proactive approach, reliable teamwork, and strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Perform planned preventative maintenance and reactive gas tasks on commercial sites.
• Diagnose and rectify faults in commercial and domestic gas appliances.
• Participate in the on‑call rota and occasional out‑of‑hours assignments.

Requirements

A minimum of the following qualifications is required: COCN1, ICPN1, CIGA1, CDGA1, TPCP1, TCP1A, CCN1, CENWAT, plus any applicable domestic certifications. Candidates should have at least three years of commercial gas experience and be familiar with major manufacturers such as Valliant Powermatic, Riello, and Worcester.

Key technical skills include comprehensive knowledge of heating systems, good plumbing ability, and familiarity with controls or BMS, which is desirable. Excellent organisational skills, a positive attitude, and a full UK driving licence are also essential.

• Utilise core combustion and plumbing skills to support service delivery.
• Work independently with a proactive, reliable approach.
• Hold required certifications: COCN1, ICPN1, CIGA1, CDGA1, TPCP1, TCP1A, CCN1, CENWAT.
• Provide at least three years of commercial gas engineering experience.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication, and organisational abilities.
• Maintain a full UK driving licence.
