What you would be doing

Responsible for completing clerical tasks such as labeling and tagging boxes to prepare for shipment
Scan and stock product accurately, timely, and neatly in its primary location
Receives product deliveries
Conduct basic inspection, labelling and wrapping of VCC material in conjunction with the quality assurance department
Unload shipping containers
Communicate picking work order issues (out of stock, location) to Material Admins
Adheres to all safety, OSHA guidelines, work rules and policies and focuses daily on housekeeping inside and outside of the facility
Packs items quickly and properly within the established time limit and standard
Operates machines and equipment to assists in packing process
Ensure picking accuracy and quantity rate is maintained at established standard
Research and reconcile inventory discrepancies
Supports, exhibits and adheres to the VCC Core Values
Complete assigned cycle counts, physical inventories, random or receipt audits and reconciliations
Use of computer to print labels and investigate discrepancies in the WMS
Evaluates all shipping material for inaccuracies against pick ticket

High School diploma or equivalent
A minimum of 6 months to 1 year of full-time industry experience in a warehouse, distribution center, order fulfillment center, logistics, supply chain operations or manufacturing environment required. Any equivalent combination of education, experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities will be accepted.
Must be present in the workplace and demonstrate commitment, dependability, punctuality and adherence to agreed-upon schedule as determined by Manager
Ability to operate manual pallet jack
Ability to follow directions and communicate in English verbally and in writing and to read and understand materials printed in English
Must exhibit the ability to read, write, understand and speak English
Ability to work in a team atmosphere, promoting positive work relationships with other team members, as well as internal and external customers
Capacity to be self-motivated and achieve goals with minimal supervision or direction
Ability to utilize a handheld scanner
Capacity to utilize effective time management skills and be able to work under the stress of multiple deadlines, requests from other departments and interruptions with accuracy
