Certified Sales & Rentals is growing, and we're on the lookout for a passionate, detail-driven Heavy Duty Mechanic (Journeyperson or Apprentice), whose primary responsibility is performing mechanical maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment, machinery, and industrial systems. The Heavy Duty Mechanic works safely, completing all required safety documentation and follows proper safety procedures. Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test will be required as a condition of employment. - Must have own basic tools
- Valid drivers license
- Licensed Red Seal Heavy Duty Mechanic or Heavy Duty Mechanic Apprentice; applicants with previous mechanical work experience will also be considered
- Any valid safety-related training certificates would be considered an asset
- Familiar with hydraulics, electronics, engine and transmission diagnostics, and battery powered equipment
- Experience in mining mobile equipment and other heavy mobile equipment
- Ability to use judgment and apply discretion when making decisions
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Mechanical Aptitude
