Promote safe design & construction and discharge CDM duties, as a member of SSEN Transmission's Designer/Principal Designer team.
Apply design & engineering governance throughout each project phase and demonstrate same during “Gate” assurance reviews.
Support project FEED, such as preparation of technical work scope and specification for specialist surveys, studies and supervision.
Prepare technical work scope and specification for subsea engineering activity/deliverables for ECC contracts.
Review & accept the contractors' engineering & design deliverables; balancing technical risk/benefit to make confident design decisions.

Willingness to mobilise offshore to supervise critical installation works for compliance with the Employer's requirements.
Knowledge and experience from performing a similar role, preferably including time spent offshore.
Working knowledge of relevant industry codes, standards, specifications, and safe working practices.
Minimum qualification level of BEng in a relevant engineering discipline.
Excellent communication, time-management and organisational skills.
