BEPC is seeking a Senior IT Engineer to support one of our client’s most mission-critical and rapidly growing semiconductor manufacturing sites in Richardson, TX. This role is responsible for architecting, deploying, and supporting both IT (Information Technology) and OT (Operational Technology) systems that directly enable high-reliability semiconductor production.
- Document infrastructure, automation scripts, and system configurations for operational continuity.
- Work with Corporate IT and Global Security to ensure all infrastructure meets cybersecurity and hardening standards.
- Writing and maintaining technical documentation.
- Collaborate with semiconductor process and equipment vendors to ensure optimal equipment performance and fault tolerance.
- Contribute to Infrastructure-as-Code, server automation, and modernization initiatives.
- Troubleshoot performance issues related to physical and virtualized workloads.
- Support VMware virtualization, vSAN, vSphere, VCF/NSX, and hyper-converged systems (e.g., Dell VXRail).
- Migrate workloads from physical servers to virtualized architectures.
- Participate in daily tier meetings with manufacturing operations and factory systems teams.
- Support deployment and operations of Kubernetes and emerging container-based environments.
- Support AI-based automation, advanced process control (APC), and fault detection (FDC) infrastructures.
- Participate in cross-site and corporate troubleshooting calls.
- Support backup, disaster recovery, and resilience strategies.
- Provide operational support for on-premises server stacks, both virtual and physical.

Cloud-Native / DevOps Technologies
- 3+ years with VMware virtualization (vSphere, vSAN, VCF/NSX).
- Data recovery tools (Rubrik, Veeam, Commvault, etc.)
- Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Advanced degree (MS) in IT, CS, Engineering, or related field.
- 1+ years with Docker and Kubernetes container orchestration.
- Highly self-driven, capable of operating independently.
- Cisco Nexus & Catalyst network infrastructure
- Proven ability to act as a change agent in fast-moving environments.
- Windows patching tools such as Tanium
- Server automation or IaC (Tanium, CHEF, JSON, PowerShell, Ruby).
- 5+ years with Windows Server OS and RHEL Linux (5–9.x) administration.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or similar.
- 3+ years experience with ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools.
- SCADA, MES, and industrial computing systems
- 5+ years supporting enterprise server ecosystems.
- Network fundamentals (VLANs, VPNs, DNS/DHCP, routing, switching).
- Work with Docker and automation tools (CHEF, JSON, PowerShell, Ruby, etc.).
Benefits
Pay Rate: $65.00 -$75.00 per hour (Determined by experience, Weekly Pay)
