In this position, the leader will build a personal consulting and design practice, recruit and develop a Dallas‑based MEP team, and identify new client opportunities beyond projected targets. Collaboration with practice teams in other offices, development of staffing plans, mentorship of staff, and participation in community and professional organizations are also key responsibilities.
- Build and lead a consulting and design practice for healthcare, life sciences, and industrial MEP projects.
- Recruit, develop, and mentor a Dallas‑based MEP team.
- Identify and pursue new client opportunities beyond projected targets.
- Collaborate with practice teams in other offices to leverage shared client relationships.
- Partner with support staff to create sustainable staffing plans.
- Participate in community and professional organizations to promote the Kimley‑Horn brand.

Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering (advanced degrees are a plus), have eight or more years of relevant experience, and preferably possess Revit skills. A Texas Professional Engineer license is required, and applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
- Hold a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering (advanced degree a plus).
- Possess 8+ years of relevant experience; Revit proficiency preferred.
- Hold a Texas Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
