  • Contribute to the leadership, management, and implementation of efforts in support of our clients’ projects. Lead consulting engagements as a “seller-doer.”
  • Maintain authorized contracts and work with Project Managers to deliver the full life cycle of services in a profitable manner, from opportunity development through payment for service.
  • Work under the supervision of senior staff to implement growth strategies and initiatives, develop client relationships, enhance Haley & Aldrich’s reputation, and generate new business opportunities that result in revenue growth with new and existing clients.
  • Mentor and guide staff in the execution of project work and production of deliverables, serving as a mentor and collaborative leader.
  • Play a key role in supporting our nationwide energy development projects, with a primary focus on environmental permitting, planning, and compliance for electric generating facilities.
  • Contribute to strategic direction and oversight of broad areas of services provided on behalf of clients, whether provided in-house or with external resources.
  • Oversee execution of all phases of a project to meet our client’s objectives, as well as company goals for revenue generation and profitability. Travel is expected to support project needs.

  • Demonstrate strong technical competence in services required by our clients.
  • Minimum of 10 years of consulting experience, with specific experience in environmental permitting, planning, and compliance for power plant development, with demonstrated client contacts within the energy market.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to explain complex issues to a wide range of audiences.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and computer literacy.
  • Understanding of energy markets and ability to broadly understand energy project needs and context for client challenges and opportunities, to cross-sell multiple services Haley & Aldrich can provide in other areas, and to direct contractors when appropriate.
  • B.S. or M.S. degree in environmental science, planning, engineering or a related technical discipline.
