Lead forecasting efforts to tailor product offerings using evolving market demands and KPIs to stock new stores
Maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers to enhance returns processes
Manage the purchase order process, including external sourcing and intercompany transfers
Partner with the finance department to manage annual cycle count strategies and inventory rebalancing
Enforce supplier standards for distribution, analyzing trends to continuously improve supplier performance
Ensure accurate inventory adjustments supporting store inventory requests
Monitor all system material issues, taking corrective actions as needed
Collaborate with Store Managers to develop and maintain an optimal product mix for stores
Utilize inventory analysis to drive decisions based on SKU family and classifications
Manage Excess and Obsolete (E&O) inventory processes across all sites
Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, including finance, operations, and store management teams, to ensure alignment and clear communication of materials management strategies
Own the Materials Management Scorecard, tracking KPIs such as Inventory Turnover, Average Days to Sell, Stockout Rate, and Back Order Rate
Promote a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging team feedback, innovating processes, and conducting regular reviews
Ensure accurate setup and inventory pulling for kits, managing First-In-First-Out (FIFO) strategies effectively
Oversee regular cycle counts and assist with physical inventory counts as required
