Read and interpret maps to determine vehicle routes.
Secure cargo for transport, using ropes, blocks, chain, binders, or covers.

Should ask questions and provide relevant information to the customers that they might need and then list down the orders which the customers might purchase, thereby providing them excellent customer service.
Keeps up to date with the product inventory and its functionality.
Collect delivery instructions from appropriate sources, verifying instructions and routes
Must wear prescribed personal protective equipment when handling material or operating equipment.
Inspect vehicle to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order, including the completion of pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions, following signals from loading crew and checking that vehicle and loading equipment are properly positioned.
Greets customers with respect and courtesy.
Follow appropriate safety procedures for transporting goods including the inspection of loads to ensure that cargo is secure.
Load or unload trucks or help other with loading or unloading, using loading-related equipment or other equipment as necessary.
Operate equipment, such as truck cab computer, cellular phones, driver cameras, GPS equipment to exchange necessary information with bases, supervisor or other drivers.
