The Enterprise Systems Manager is responsible for providing strategic direction and operational oversight for a diverse portfolio of enterprise compute, storage, and related technologies. This includes both on-premises data centers and cloud infrastructure, with a commitment to ensuring high availability and 24/7 operational excellence. The position involves leading and directing multiple teams tasked with the architectural design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable and resilient systems. Additionally, it encompasses the integration, optimization, and operational management of these environments, as well as the administration of servers and storage to guarantee optimal performance and security.
Moreover, this role oversees identity and access management, system monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives. It ensures the development and execution of effective disaster recovery plans for their respective areas. The position also includes leading and mentoring team members, collaborating with project management, implementing security protocols and compliance standards, managing vendor relationships and budgets, and driving the adoption of advanced automation solutions to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.
- Implement advanced automation solutions to streamline operations, reduce manual tasks, and improve system management. Develop and maintain automated workflows, scripts, and tools to enhance operational efficiency and reduce human error.
- Guide the identity and access management (IAM) team to ensure policies and procedures deliver secure access to systems, data, directory services, multi-factor authentication, and single sign-on.
- Ensure mature disaster recovery plans to deliver business continuity in the event of system failure or other emergencies.
- Oversee the teams responsible for integration, optimization, and operational management of multiple data centers, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.
- Supervise the teams responsible for the administration of enterprise systems, including servers and storage, ensuring systems are configured, maintained, and monitored for optimal performance and security. Implement best practices for system upgrades, patch management, and troubleshooting.
- Develop and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for system usage and data protection.
- Implement and maintain security protocols and compliance standards to protect data.
- Oversee and manage licenses and their corresponding contracts for foundational infrastructure systems directly under your purview, encompassing operating systems, productivity suites, relevant cloud subscriptions, virtualization environments, and other critical software such as application runtimes and backup systems. This includes ensuring compliance and optimizing usage.
- Manage the teams responsible for cloud infrastructure and services, ensuring seamless integration with on-premises systems and optimal performance.
- Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance and professional growth.
- Ensure timely procurement, implementation, and lifecycle management of server and storage infrastructure environments to meet performance, high availability, capacity, security, compliance, and business continuity requirements.
- Maintain system performance and availability monitoring using key metrics and continuous process improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability. Regularly report on performance metrics to stakeholders.
- Manage the budget for data center and cloud operations, ensuring cost-effective solutions and resource allocation.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system performance, reliability, and efficiency. Identify and implement best practices, process improvements, and innovative solutions to optimize IT operations.
- Coordinate with IT’s Project Management Organization to plan, execute, and oversee data center and cloud projects, including upgrades, migrations, and expansions. Participate as a Subject Matter Expert on other projects.
- Collaborate with vendors and service providers to ensure the best solutions and support for data center and cloud operations.
- Manage and approve the engineering efforts for building and maintaining the overall architecture of enterprise systems, including IT infrastructure, servers and storage, applications integration, databases, and network solutions integration, ensuring scalability and resiliency while aligning with business goals and industry standards.

- Experience with Cloud Technologies, encompassing Azure, AWS, and GCP cloud platforms and service models for designing and managing cloud architectures and services.
- 8 years of experience in enterprise systems management.
- Expert-level experience in Server Administration, including deep knowledge of server operating systems, hardware, and services, with proficiency in configuration, installation, troubleshooting, and patch management.
- Familiarity with AI concepts and machine learning.
- Experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM), with expertise in managing IAM systems, Active Directory, MFA, and implementing access control methodologies with a focus on security and compliance.
- Proven experience in managing complex projects and delivering results on time and within budget.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

- Expert-level experience in Virtualization, with proven ability to design, implement, and manage virtualization platforms and environments
- Proficiency in Automation, specifically, with system administration tasks using scripting and tools to achieve operational efficiency and compliance goals and, generally, as part of a broader Continuous Process Improvement Program.
- Awareness of ethical and compliance concepts.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
