The Quality Assurance (QA) team owns the testing process, risk management, and quality evaluation of all Epic products and functions. It works closely with developers and production to ensure the best possible user experience for our community and customers.
QA Engineers leverage technical and QA expertise to collaborate with product owners, developers, and QA management to identify risks, debug issues, and define quality for upcoming features and releases. They develop and implement automation test strategies, use technical tooling to expand QA coverage, and facilitate functional, qualitative, and performance testing using both manual and automated techniques.
In this role you will collaborate with graphics‑tools stakeholders to define acceptance criteria, assess risks, and plan testing coverage while building tooling and automation to improve team efficiency. You will identify technical gaps across distributed teams and vendors, build test strategies and plans for multiple features, execute varied testing techniques, and report data quality to drive conversations about product health. You will also mentor junior colleagues and lead cross‑team QA initiatives.
The role requires strong experience writing test automation or QA tools, familiarity with code or scripts (Python, C++, C# a plus), and a track record of developing test plans and risk‑mitigation strategies. Candidates should have proven cross‑team leadership, excellent communication, experience with gaming platforms such as Linux, Apple, Switch, Xbox, PS4/5, and the ability to deliver high‑quality work and close testing gaps.
The position is open to multiple locations across the United States, including Washington, with an annual base pay range of $114,935–$168,572 USD. Epic also offers generous benefit plans and discretionary incentive programs.
