We have a healthy workload focused on water supply and sewerage schemes with key water authorities in South‑East Queensland and, as such, we are seeking determined professionals to join our thriving team. You will join a dynamic and skilled team that works on water infrastructure projects, not only locally, but across the APAC region.
As a Civil Engineer, you will provide professional engineering skills in water and sewerage infrastructure across network and treatment assets. You will lead projects through client liaison, design management and project management, and mentor graduates. You will perform civil engineering tasks such as design drawings, calculations, reports and design criteria. You will develop and manage project scope, cost estimates, budgets, staffing and schedules. You will collaborate with local clients and colleagues across SEQ, Australia and the wider Asia Pacific business and partner with a diverse client base including local government, industry and private development.
Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or equivalent. Chartership (RPEQ) or progress towards it is highly regarded. Relevant professional experience in engineering and consulting within the water industry is required, with strong technical experience in potable water supply, gravity and pumped sewerage systems, and recycled water networks. Experience with water and wastewater treatment plants for regional and urban authorities is desirable. Proven ability to engage with a range of clients and stakeholders, including local authorities, government bodies and commercial companies, is essential.
