The Senior Director, Critical Infrastructure Engineering Lead leads end‑to‑end lifecycle management and engineering reliability programs for critical facilities and infrastructure. This supervisory role ensures reliability, uptime, and safety of all critical Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP) and life‑safety systems supporting research activities, while managing vendor performance and rigorous change‑management processes.
Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related engineering discipline (or equivalent experience), at least 10 years of progressive engineering, asset‑management or reliability experience in multi‑site operations, and strong expertise in asset lifecycle planning, capital budgeting, preventive and predictive maintenance, and reliability‑centered methodologies. High proficiency with EAM/CMMS systems, performance analytics, FMEA, RCA and relevant industry credentials such as CMRP, CRL or PMP is preferred.
Key competencies for success are strategic asset planning, financial and risk analysis, reliability engineering, operational leadership, stakeholder management, data‑driven decision making, continuous improvement and strong communication and influencing skills.
Estimated total compensation is $170,000–$190,000 per year and the role is remote in Atlanta, GA; Austin, TX; Chicago, IL; Nashville, TN; or Sacramento, CA.
