Good commercial awareness and a willingness to take part in marketing/business development activities.

Excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing.

Membership of the IOA (Institute of Acoustics).
Strong organisation and administration skills, with the ability to prioritise workloads.
Acoustic calculations and proficient in using CadnaA
A strong academic background including (ideally) a degree in Acoustics or a related subject (e.g. Physics, Audio Technology).
Understanding of basic environmental acoustics guidance and standards such as CRTN, BS8233, BS4142, BB93, HTM08-01, BS5228, NPPF, NPSE, ProPG etc.
Full driving license and flexibility to travel is required due to various project locations.
Sufficient standing to represent the company at regular project meetings.
Post-planning building acoustics design work form RIBA Stage 2-6.
