Maintain up-to-date vendor information in internal databases and systems (e.g., ERP, vendor dashboards).
Ensure vendors adhere to contractual obligations and compliance requirements, including GDPR, health & safety, and EirGrid Group policies.
Identify opportunities to improve vendor management processes, templates, and governance structures.
Build relationships with internal contract owners and business units to support vendor engagement and accountability.
Support audit processes and regulatory reporting where third-party relationships are in scope.
Monitor and report on vendor performance using service level agreements (SLAs), key performance indicators (KPIs), and balanced scorecards.
Assist in the management of vendor risk assessments, including due diligence on financial, operational, and cybersecurity risks.
Collaborate with Procurement and Legal teams to support contract change processes, service reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Monitor key contract dates such as renewals, expirations, and obligations to ensure timely action and compliance.
Support the rollout and application of EirGrid’s Vendor Management Framework and processes across all business units.
Generate regular and ad hoc reports on vendor performance, spend, and risk to support strategic decision-making.

Experience working in or with a regulated utility, energy company, or large infrastructure organisation.
Strong organisational, analytical, and communication skills.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in vendor management, procurement, contract management, or supplier governance.
Familiarity with vendor management systems, ERP tools or contract lifecycle platforms.
A primary degree in Business, Supply Chain, Law, Engineering, or a related discipline.
Proficiency in ERP usage, Microsoft Excel and/or Power BI for reporting and data analysis.
Knowledge of Irish and EU public procurement rules and Utilities Directive (2014/25/EU).
Understanding of cybersecurity, ESG, and risk frameworks in a vendor management context.
