Promote PRO Services & Tools

• Educate customers on THD’s PRO tools and programs, including:
• Partner with THD’s Outside PRO Sales team to grow Managed Accounts.
• Build and manage a portfolio of PRO clients.
• Visit job sites, contractor offices, and conduct cold calls to understand needs, build rapport, and promote THD products/services.
• Serve as the single point of contact for your PRO clients, assisting with product selection, delivery logistics, credit, and special orders.
• Work closely with THD store teams, fulfillment, and management to ensure smooth execution of large orders and special requests, delivering “white-glove” service.
• Meet or exceed sales targets by increasing sales with existing accounts and onboarding new PRO customers into THD’s PRO ecosystem.
• Proactively identify, engage, and retain new PRO customers, including general contractors, remodelers, and specialty trades.

Requirements

Customer Experience

• Previous experience selling to or working with PRO customers at a big-box retailer or distributor (e.g., Home Depot, Lowe’s, ABC Supply, Beacon, Builders FirstSource).
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
• Digital tools for procurement and project management
• Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working independently.
• Existing network in the local contractor community.
• Strong understanding of contractor workflows and project timelines.
• 2+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally in construction, building materials, or home improvement.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally for client visits.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish/French) a plus.
• Industry-leading training and tools.
• Understand their project timelines, material needs, and buying cycles to provide proactive solutions in partnership with THD teams.
