Tasks

-Documenting Risk Assessments: Job Hazard Analyses, Confined Space Hazard Assessments -Assist with 5S Program: labeling, organization, shadow boards preparation, layouts, and taking/posting area pictures -Preparing and updating technical documents/Manuals: Standard Work Instructions, Equipment Lockout Tag out Procedures, Standard Operating Procedures and Site Policies -Reviewing and updating Engineering drawings and process flow diagrams -Provide general support and assistance to the HSE Specialist -Maintain relevant H&S Documents and Records -Maintain Health and Safety training records and ensure training certifications -Assist in Annual Health and Safety audits -Liaise with plant staff -Compile Monthly audit Reports and statistics

What You Bring

-Proficiency with all Microsoft Applications (i.e. Word, Excel, and Outlook) -Recent graduate from university level undergraduate degree program in Occupational Health & Safety or a similar discipline -Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization -Previous manufacturing experience will be considered an asset -Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment -Knowledge of OHS and government legislation and codes\Proactive & dynamic attitude focused on delivering results
