Commercial Manager

As Commercial Manager, you will take ownership of the commercial function for projects ranging from £250k to £10m, ensuring robust financial control, risk management, and value delivery throughout the project lifecycle. You will lead a team of Quantity Surveyors and collaborate closely with project, design, and client teams to ensure every scheme is delivered profitably and to the highest standard.

• Support pre-construction and bid teams with commercial input.
• Ensure compliance with JCT contracts and company commercial procedures.
• Lead all commercial activities across Cat A, Cat B, and retail fit-out projects.
• Work collaboratively with clients, consultants, and the delivery team to achieve project and business objective
• Produce accurate financial forecasts, valuations, and cost reports.
• Manage and develop a team of Quantity Surveyors.
• Negotiate and manage subcontracts and supplier agreements.
• Oversee cost planning, tendering, procurement, and contract administration.

• Confident leading commercial teams and managing multiple live projects.
• Strong background in commercial, retail, and Cat A/Cat B office projects.
• Excellent knowledge of JCT contract administration.
• Proven experience as a Commercial Manager or Senior Quantity Surveyor within fit-out, refurbishment, or interiors.
• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar (RICS desirable).
• Financially astute with strong analytical and negotiation skills.
