Prepare reports and presentations on modelling results and design solutions

Contribute to BREEAM, WELL, LEED, NABERS, and other sustainability certifications.
Undertake steady-state heating and cooling load assessments
Stay current with industry trends, software developments, and best practices in energy modelling.
Contribute to Whole Life Carbon assessments and Lifecycle Analysis.
Interpret and apply current and emerging UK sustainability legislation and guidance (e.g. Building Regulations, local planning policies, Net Zero policies).

Experience in dynamic thermal modelling (ideally using IES VE and/or Grasshopper/Ladybug).
Membership of a related professional institution and on the way or already “chartered” either engineer, scientist or environmentalist.
Can demonstrate a knowledge for low-carbon, energy-efficient design; background in Building Physics and passive design.
An understanding of UK building regulations (Part L/Section 6, and Part O)
An understanding of industry guidance documents including CIBSE, TM52, TM59, etc.
Analytical, data interpretation, and problem-solving skills.
Experience with Part L and/or Section 6 compliance for domestic and non-domestic buildings.
