You will work with system integrators and manufacturers to keep automation projects moving, providing on‑site support and clear communication. Your schedule follows rotating on‑site rotations such as 5 days on/2 days off, 10 on/4 off, or 14 on/7 off, exposing you to diverse challenges and locations.

• Perform on‑site mechanical, electrical, and control checks for data‑center startups.
• Lead startup, checkout, and acceptance testing for warehouse fulfillment and manufacturing systems.
• Collaborate with automation and controls engineers to test, troubleshoot, and validate systems.
• Communicate progress and updates clearly to customers and project teams.
• Travel on rotating schedules (e.g., 5 on‑2 off, 10 on‑4 off, 14 on‑7 off) across North America.

Requirements

The four‑week paid training prepares technically skilled individuals for field work, and success requires a basic foundation in electrical systems, programming, and communication networking. If you are new to these areas, this role may not yet be the right fit.

We seek candidates with a technical background and hands‑on experience in automation, as well as strong communication and problem‑solving abilities. A technical degree or equivalent experience of at least three years in electrical, mechanical, or automation engineering is required, along with the ability to travel frequently. You must live within 50 miles of a major airport, have a personal vehicle available within 45 days, and be authorized to work in the U.S.

The role requires walking long distances across large facilities, climbing ladders or stairs, lifting and moving up to 50 lb, and standing, kneeling, or reaching for extended periods. Work environments include construction sites, outdoors, and hot or cold conditions, with reasonable accommodations provided as needed.
