The Jobsite Quality & Logistics Technician works within Construction Operations, reporting directly to the Director of Construction and coordinating daily with the Project Manager Assistant. The role is field‑based, traveling between residential jobsites to keep them clean, safe, and organized while reducing operational friction for supervisors and project managers. Its purpose is to protect production efficiency, improve consistency, and provide reliable documentation without supplanting field leadership.
The technician reports performance, jobsite standards, and recurring issues to the Director of Construction, while receiving daily direction on priorities, documentation, and material logistics from the PM Assistant. The position does not manage crews, subcontractors, or schedules, and it supports rather than replaces supervisory authority. Communication flows to project managers through clear, professional updates.
Core duties include inspecting multiple active residential sites each day for cleanliness and safety, photographing deficiencies, and logging issues in company systems. The technician performs basic safety walkthroughs, flags concerns, and assists with back‑charge documentation without enforcement. Logistic tasks involve delivering, picking up, or returning materials and handling errands that free supervisors to stay on‑site. By removing day‑to‑day friction, the role helps keep projects moving efficiently.
Candidates need residential construction or trades experience, strong attention to detail, the ability to work independently across sites, and a valid driver’s license with a clean record. Preferred qualifications include jobsite safety experience and familiarity with subcontractor workflows. The organization expects the incumbent to understand the support nature of the role, take pride in clean sites, and remain emotionally steady and physically capable.
Success is measured by consistently clean jobsites, high‑quality documentation, reduced supervisor time on logistics, and timely issue resolution communicated to the PM Assistant and Director of Construction. The position offers a career path toward Jobsite Quality & Safety Lead or Field Operations Support Manager. Compensation ranges from $20–$25 hourly, includes health reimbursement, PTO, holidays, a 3 % IRA match, and a company vehicle for work‑related travel.
