Ssc Services For Education
Provides custodial, grounds, and facilities maintenance services tailored to K–12 and higher‑education campuses.
Provide leadership, mentorship, and supervision to our dedicated team of facilities professionals.
Play a key role in the recruitment process, conducting screenings, interviews, and making recommendations for staffing decisions.
Establish and maintain systems to train staff to meet performance and safety standards.
Cultivate an environment of excellence, safety, and continuous improvement through effective training and development initiatives.
Serve on assigned committees.
Maintain blueprints, specifications, and systems plans and drawings.
Assist with the preparation and submission of various statistical and narrative reports, including the long-range facility plan, five-year construction plan, and scheduled maintenance program.
Provide effective supervision, evaluation, and coordination of assigned personnel, encouraging a collaborative and cohesive team.
Develop and maintain annual departmental budgets. Review, monitor, and evaluate budgets and financial data. Control and authorize expenditures in accordance with authorized parameters.
Inspect completed projects for accuracy and compliance with established requirements and specifications. Assure that related functions follow all applicable laws, codes, ordinances, regulations, policies, and procedures.

Five+ years of management experience in maintenance/facilities management or other service-related field with high customer/client contact required
Strong leadership skills
Ability to multi-task and prioritize
Proven track record of working effectively in an unstructured and fast-paced environment
Proficient in the use of Windows based office software including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
