Structural Engineer, Intermediate

Description

As a Structural Engineer/Designer, you will create structural systems from schematic concepts through construction administration across a variety of building types, working within an integrated design team that collaborates closely with architects, engineers, and clients.

• Develop structural designs from concept through construction completion.
• Prepare engineering calculations, system layouts, and detailed reports.
• Produce construction documents using Revit and write/review specifications.
• Review shop drawings, RFIs, and submittals; conduct site visits as needed.
• Coordinate structural requirements with architecture and other disciplines.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and clients throughout the integrated design process.

Requirements

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural or Architectural/Structural Engineering.
• Possess 8–15 years of experience designing concrete, masonry, steel, and wood structural systems, including gravity and lateral systems.
• Proficient with structural software such as ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE, RAM, ADAPT, RISA, and Enercalc.
• Demonstrate strong problem‑solving, creativity, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
• Preferred: Master’s degree, experience in sustainable building design, BIM/Revit workflow, and PE licensure.
