Closing Manager
Lakeview Loan Servicing, Llc.

Review and analyze CD cures and curtailments requested by closers, processors, compliance, and other stakeholders.
Forecast daily funding volumes to achieve monthly production goals.
Provide after-hours support, as needed, to processors, notaries, and other stakeholders.
Collaborate with post-closing managers to resolve issues identified with closed loans.
Oversee timekeeping, performance management, and reviews for direct reports.
Partner with the training team to develop job aids and provide training for new employees on closing and funding processes within the loan origination system.
Proactively identify and eliminate errors that cause late funding, coordinating with stakeholders to implement solutions.
Lead the resolution of failed fundings and closings.
Approve wire transfers and coordinate with Bayview Asset Management’s corporate funding team on loan funding and rescission requests.
Manage the daily workflow of Closers by assigning loans, monitoring productivity, and ensuring timely closings and fundings.
Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for all aspects of Closing and Funding, addressing questions and resolving issues for internal and external stakeholders.
Respond to audit requests (Internal Audit, QA, QC, and monthly audits) at the loan level.
Analyze loan origination system reports to track performance, identify trends, and improve efficiency.
Coordinate with title vendors to ensure timely closings and disbursement of company funds.
Work closely with title companies and settlement agents to manage escalations, review funding documents, and ensure corrections are made before wire approval.

Minimum of three years of mortgage closing and funding experience, with strong emphasis on regulatory compliance related to closing documents, CD cures, and disclosures/re-disclosures.
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
High attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to manage multiple tasks accurately in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
College degree preferred.
Expertise in preparing and calculating mortgage loan closing documents.
Direct experience with regulatory compliance requirements, including TILA and RESPA.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Solid knowledge of the mortgage loan process.
